Alela's Wacky Races by Buddadragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Artful Provocateur

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Artifact-Aggro strategy that utilizes Alela, Artful Provocateur to bridge the gap between non-creature artifact spells and the high crew requirements of a Vehicle sub-theme. The primary game plan is to cast low-to-mid-cost Vehicles and artifact utility pieces, triggering Alela to generate 1/1 flying Faeries. These tokens serve a dual purpose: they provide the necessary power to crew massive Vehicles like Parhelion II and Consulate Dreadnought, and they benefit from Alela s anthem effect to provide a secondary wide-board clock. The deck wins through overwhelming aerial combat damage, supplemented by artifact-synergy finishers like Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge and Debt to the Deathless. While it lacks infinite combos, it excels at maintaining a persistent board state through token generation and asymmetric board wipes like Organic Extinction, turning a typically clunky card type (Vehicles) into a streamlined engine of evasive pressure.
