Deck overview

Commanded by Sai, Master Thopterist, this mono-blue artifact deck builds an overwhelming aerial presence by converting cheap artifact spells into 1/1 flying Thopter tokens. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks, cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Foundry Inspector, and affinity mechanics to rapidly flood the board. Once assembled, it converts its wide artifact footprint into substantial card advantage using combat triggers from Bident of Thassa, tap engines like Shimmer Dragon, and Sai's own sacrifice ability. Victory is achieved by scaling the flying swarm with static anthems like Master of Etherium and Forsaken Monument, creating unblockable giants such as Kappa Cannoneer, or overwhelming opponents through Urza, Lord High Artificer and Masterful Replication. While lacking compact infinite combos and fast tutors, the deck boasts resilient draw power, moderate stack interaction, and redundant token generators that maintain pressure across table rotations.
