Deck overview

This deck plays a defensive Boros monarch game. It uses Court of Grace, Court of Embereth, Court of Ire, Tamiyo, Upriser Crowned, and a large group of monarch creatures to generate tokens, deter attacks, and extract value from keeping the crown. Flicker cards such as Teleportation Circle, Conjurer's Closet, and Eerie Interlude reuse enters-the-battlefield effects and protect creatures from sweepers. The deck has broad permanent removal, but little stack interaction and limited acceleration. Its main weakness is that monarch value does not become a fast or deterministic win. The strongest ordinary position is a growing Angel and Knight board backed by attack taxes, not a compact combo. It should expect to win through accumulated combat damage and repeated upkeep triggers only after several table rotations. The enchantment core and monarch status remain vulnerable throughout that process.
