Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf token deck that converts every Dwarf entering the battlefield into Treasures, then uses those artifact tokens as both acceleration and a global pump for his fellow Dwarves. The primary plan is go-wide combat: build a mid-sized Dwarf board, dump a burst token spell, and swing with each Dwarf grown by the Treasure count. Secondary lines include Magda tutoring a Dragon finisher, equipment voltron through Dain Ironfoot and Bruenor, and Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-based alternate win condition. There is no double-faced commander; Magda, Brazen Outlaw functions as the closest thing to a hidden commander in the 99.
