Commander: Super Shredder

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck built around Super Shredder's counter growth and token sacrifice engines. The primary plan is to generate a wide board of tokens and recursive creatures, then convert deaths into life loss through Blood Artist effects and drain spells. The commander acts as a scaling threat that grows whenever permanents leave the battlefield, while the deck's many sacrifice outlets and recursion pieces keep the engine running. Secondary paths include big-mana X spells like Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire, plus a Bolas's Citadel + Sensei's Divining Top + Sheoldred combo. The deck is highly consistent thanks to a dense tutor package and card draw, and it can function well even if Super Shredder is removed repeatedly.
