Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue control and value engine commanded by Y'shtola Rhul, built around exploiting enters-the-battlefield abilities through repeated flickering. Y'shtola grants two separate end-step flicker triggers each turn, turning creatures like Mulldrifter, Solemn Simulacrum, and Aether Channeler into compounding card advantage and ramp engines without mana investment. The midgame controls opposing aggression using efficient spot removal, counterspells, Propaganda, and mass bounce effects like Aetherize and Scourge of Fleets. The primary win condition centers on the two-card infinite combo of Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake, which generates infinite mana and allows the deck to draw into Venser, Shaper Savant or Agent of Treachery to bounce or steal all opposing permanents, creating a total lockout in a single turn.
