Commander: Elminster

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Elminster leads a dedicated Azorius scry control deck designed to convert topdeck manipulation into massive cost reductions, overwhelming card advantage, and decisive board presence. The deck develops early mana rocks and scrying engines to cast Elminster safely on curve. Once on the battlefield, Elminster discounts powerful instants and sorceries while generating swarms of 1/1 flying Faerie Dragon tokens using his minus loyalty ability. The deck closes games either through an accelerated double casting of Approach of the Second Sun, powered by heavy scry digging, or by buffing wide token armies with Denzilore Fatehold and Champions from Beyond.
