MOXI'S Giada | And On Any Other Day I'd Be Soul Destroyed by moximayhem

Format: Commander

Commander: Giada, Font of Hope

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 35

Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Angel typal strategy commanded by Giada, Font of Hope. Giada acts as both an early mana accelerator and a continuous buff engine, placing escalating +1/+1 counters on every subsequent Angel based on your existing Angel count. The game plan focuses on deploying high-toughness, evasive flying creatures on curve, turning mid-sized beaters into massive aerial threats. Supporting enchantments like Divine Visitation and token producers like Starnheim Unleashed flood the skies with 4/4 Angels, while Mother of Runes and Giver of Runes shield critical pieces from targeted interaction. High-end bombs like Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Sublime Archangel close out games by making your board indestructible or concentrating enormous commander damage into single swings. While the deck possesses efficient single-target removal, its primary vulnerability lies in its reliance on combat damage over multiple turns, making it susceptible to well-timed mass board wipes.
