Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nicol Bolas, the Ravager leads a Grixis discard-and-control deck that uses forced discard and wheels to generate advantage, then transitions to one of three finishing modes: an Aetherflux Reservoir loop with Bolas's Citadel and Sensei's Divining Top, huge X-spells such as Torment of Hailfire, or reanimated titans like Archon of Cruelty. The deck is built to exploit the front face's enter-the-battlefield discard trigger-using Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and recursion to repeat it-while the Arisen flip brings card draw, removal, and reanimation once the game slows down. There is no hidden commander; Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God and God-Pharaoh serve as backup planeswalker finishers rather than the primary engine.
