Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Naya Voltron and Equipment Aggro strategy commanded by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, high-impact equipment like Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, and Shadowspear during the early turns, followed by casting Cloud on Turn 4. Cloud's enters-the-battlefield trigger bypasses equip costs entirely, allowing him to attack immediately with haste. Upon attacking with 7 or more power, Cloud draws extra cards and generates two Treasure tokens, fueling follow-up plays. The deck leverages heavy equipment tutoring through Stoneforge Mystic, Open the Armory, and Fighter Class to guarantee weapon access. It secures lethal wins via commander damage, extra combat engines like Aggravated Assault and Godo, Bandit Warlord, and an explosive Akroma's Will blowout. Defensive spells like Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Sunforger provide sturdy protection against wipes and targeted removal.
