Deck overview

This Simic deck is built around Zimone, Infinite Analyst, leveraging a high density of spells with {X} in their mana costs alongside +1/+1 counter multipliers to generate massive cost reductions and overwhelming mana velocity. The early turns prioritize deploying mana dorks and cost enhancers such as Elementalist's Palette, Gyre Sage, and Branching Evolution before resolving Zimone on turn 3. Once active, each X-spell cast places counters on Zimone, exponentially discounting subsequent X-spells across both your turns and opponents' turns via instant-speed interaction and card draw. The mid-game transitions into drawing massive chunks of the library with Pull from Tomorrow, Commander's Insight, and Hydroid Krasis. The deck closes games around turn 6–7 by casting game-ending X-spells such as Doppelgang for enormous values, stealing the table's permanents with Mass Manipulation, or assembling a lethal Walking Ballista capable of eliminating all three opponents in rapid succession.
