Deck overview

This Temur Dragons deck is built to turbo out Ureni of the Unwritten and use its enter/attack trigger to cheat massive dragons onto the battlefield for free. The primary game plan combines efficient ramp (eight mana rocks/dorks and four land-tutors) with a heavy dragon tribal synergy package. Win conditions are combat-based: Scourge of the Throne provides repeated extra combats, Atarka, World Render grants double strike to every attacking dragon, and Dragon Tempest layers in direct damage. While the deck can occasionally chain two extra combat steps in one turn, it typically requires several turns of building a board presence before the alpha strike. The commander's ability to look at the top eight cards each time it enters or attacks serves as the deck's primary card-advantage engine, but the 99 contains very few traditional tutors, and the overall interaction suite is shallow, relying on a single counterspell and a handful of spot removal.
