Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck pairs Cat tribal synergies with life gain and an extensive suite of Ajani planeswalkers. Your commander, Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, protects your turn by stopping opponents from casting spells while rewarding modified attackers with steady card draw. You establish an early board of Cats, pump their power above their base stats through counters, anthems, or planeswalker loyalty abilities, and refill your hand in combat. The deck converts this board advantage into victory via overwhelming combat damage boosted by wide buffs, Felidar Sovereign life total checks, or an asymmetric one-sided board wipe from Ajani, Strength of the Pride.
