Deck overview

The Great Goblin commands a Rakdos kindred deck that seamlessly blends Goblin and Orc token swarms with aristocrat burn and amass mechanics. The primary strategy revolves around producing a high density of cheap creature tokens through cards like Krenko, Mob Boss, March from the Black Gate, and Siege-Gang Lieutenant. Whenever counters are placed on an Army, Goblin, or Orc, the commander deals 2 direct damage to an opponent, while every kindred death triggers impulse card advantage to sustain forward momentum. The deck rapidly converts board presence into game-ending pressure by Turn 5 using mass anthems like Shared Animosity and Assault on Osgiliath, or by sacrificing wide boards into Goblin Bombardment and Uglúk of the White Hand for overwhelming direct burn. Although the deck lacks dedicated countermagic and protective equipment, its redundant token generators, efficient removal suite, and natural card flow from death triggers allow it to rebuild quickly and overwhelm opposing life totals.
