Deck overview

Karn, Gilded Guardian leads a five-color artifact midrange deck designed to build a wide board of colored artifact permanents, refill via Karn's enter-the-battlefield trigger, and close the game through massive combat swings. The mana base uses a mix of cost reducers, signets, land-ramp spells, and Guildgates to satisfy all five colors. Early turns focus on developing mana acceleration with cards like Etherium Sculptor and Fellwar Stone before casting Karn on Turn 5 to draw several cards. Once refueled, the deck deploys game-ending threats such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Alibou, Ancient Witness, or Pyrewood Gearhulk on Turn 6. While the deck boasts efficient single-target removal like Dispatch and Swords to Plowshares, its win plan relies on multi-turn combat pressure, giving opponents two response cycles before securing a full table elimination on Turn 8.
