Smaug the Unassessably Wealthy by Ryzzin85

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rakdos Dragon-treasure storm. The primary plan is to cast Smaug the Impenetrable, then use Chain Lightning or Pyrohemia to deal noncombat damage to the indestructible commander, converting each point into Treasure tokens. Those tokens feed Xorn loops, sacrifice drain from Mayhem Devil and Mirkwood Bats, and Dragon-cost reduction. The secondary path is haste Dragon combat with Dragon Tempest, Kolaghan, and Desert Were-Worm extra combats. Smaug the Magnificent acts as a hidden backup Smaug, and Hellkite Tyrant/Knuckles the Echidna provide artifact-count alternate wins. The commander is simultaneously the mana engine and finisher; if it is neutralized, the deck shifts to a slower Dragon swarm.
