Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is helmed by Vivi Ornitier, a commander that grows with each noncreature spell you cast and converts its power into a burst of blue or red mana once per turn. The primary game plan is to chain cheap instants and sorceries to rapidly increase Vivi's power, then use the mana ability to fuel a massive X-spell like Crackle with Power or a one-shot Chandra's Ignition that clears the board and burns all opponents simultaneously. Secondary win conditions include the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite mana loop, which can then be dumped into any of the deck's lethal payoffs. The deck leans heavily on its commander as both a mana engine and a damage source, and relies on a dense draw/cantrip suite rather than traditional tutors to assemble its finishers.
