Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy tribal swarm strategy led by Wick, the Whorled Mind. It uses 18 copies of Rat Colony to flood the battlefield with rapidly growing threats. Every Rat that enters grows Wick's Snail token, turning it into both a massive burn projectile and a burst card-draw engine when sacrificed for {U}{B}{R}. The primary win condition centers on resolving Thrumming Stone or tribal force multipliers like Shared Animosity, Marrow-Gnawer, and Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm around Turn 5. This generates a wave of lethal combat damage across all three opponents by Turn 6. An efficient Grixis interaction suite featuring free spells like Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, and Deadly Rollick protects key turns while keeping mana open for deployment. If the board is wiped, powerful mass reanimation cards like Patriarch's Bidding and Living Death quickly return every fallen Rat Colony to the battlefield to close out the game.
