Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is built around Kardur, Doomscourge's unique goad-and-drain engine. The primary plan is to force opponents' creatures to attack each other while Kardur's death trigger chips away at everyone's life total. The deck supplements this with a suite of removal, board wipes, and value creatures that benefit from creatures dying-Vincent Valentine grows with each death, Sangromancer gains life, and Titan Hunter punishes turns without deaths. Reanimation and theft effects like Sepulchral Primordial and Dredge the Mire let you leverage opponents' graveyards. The win condition is incremental: drain life through Kardur's trigger, combat damage from evasive threats like Scythe Specter and Combustible Gearhulk, and occasional burst from Dictate of the Twin Gods doubling damage. It's a grindy, attrition-based strategy that aims to outlast the table.
