Deck overview

This Jund deck is helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch and centers on turning -1/-1 counters into card advantage and life attrition. The early turns focus on establishing mana velocity through cheap mana dorks and rocks, deploying Auntie Ool on Turn 3. The deck transitions into drawing cards through self-inflicted -1/-1 counters using creatures like Devoted Druid, Channeler Initiate, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. While the commander generates heavy value and suppresses opposing life totals, the primary win condition is a persist infinite damage loop. By combining Murderous Redcap with a counter-canceling piece like Grumgully, the Generous or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and a sacrifice outlet such as Skirk Prospector or Phyrexian Altar, the deck deals lethal damage to the table in a single turn. Broad sweepers like Culling Ritual and The Meathook Massacre keep opposing creature boards manageable while tutoring the necessary combo pieces.
