Deck overview

This Sultai deck executes an aggressive saboteur tempo strategy helmed by Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper. The game plan opens with a swarm of cheap, evasive 1-drop and 2-drop creatures featuring unblockable, flying, and shadow mechanics. On Turn 3 or 4, the deck deploys a combat draw engine such as Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Coastal Piracy, or Toski, Bearer of Secrets, turning every unblocked attack into substantial card advantage and Treasure generation. Drawing multiple cards every turn cycle fuels rapid rebuilding and consistently finds game-ending overrun payoffs. By Turn 6, the deck deploys Beastmaster Ascension, an overloaded Scale Up, or a prowled Notorious Throng to convert fragile 1/1 attackers into massive lethal threats that bypass blockers entirely. While vulnerable to mass board wipes, its immense card velocity and low mana curve allow swift recovery to close out games across multiple combat steps.
