Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Superfriends control deck helmed by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, built to flood the board with planeswalkers and accelerate their loyalty through a dedicated proliferate package (Inexorable Tide, Thrummingbird, Flux Channeler, Karn's Bastion, Deepglow Skate). The primary win condition is Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God's -8 ultimate - each opponent who doesn't control a legendary creature or planeswalker loses - backed by a discard subtheme (Waste Not, Bottomless Pit, Court of Ambition, Geth's Grimoire) that fuels card advantage and hand disruption. The commander flips into Nicol Bolas, the Arisen, adding another walker with draw and reanimation. Secondary paths include Chandra, Awakened Inferno's emblems, Jace, the Mind Sculptor's ultimate, and combat with the 4/4 flying commander. The deck grinds value through walker ultimates and incremental discard rather than fast combos.
