Witherbloom, the Balancer 22 by Cardiak

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer is a token-sacrifice and storm-style deck that uses Saproling, Pest, and Squirrel tokens to fuel convoke, affinity, and sacrifice engines. It aims to cast a critical mass of instants and sorceries to trigger Magecraft from Professor Onyx, Sedgemoor Witch, and Witherbloom Apprentice, then finish with a massive drain spell or Craterhoof Behemoth beatdown. The deck can also grind via Field of the Dead and token producers, with recursion and land-based utility providing resilience. The commander itself is an engine enabler, reducing spell costs and threatening lethal commander damage, but the deck does not rely solely on it.
