Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Selesnya lifegain midrange strategy commanded by Aerith, Last Ancient. The plan focuses on establishing early lifegain triggers through low-cost creatures like Soul Warden and Serra Ascendant, which fuel Aerith's end-step graveyard recursion engine. As life totals climb well beyond starting totals, the deck transitions into decisive win conditions. It closes games either through alternate win permanents such as Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, and Aetherflux Reservoir, or through wide combat overruns powered by Archangel of Thune and Blossoming Bogbeast. Robust search options ensure consistent access to key combo pieces and equipment, while defensive tools like Heroic Intervention and Clever Concealment protect the board against opposing sweepers. The deck maintains steady momentum across mid-game turns while applying continuous pressure through resilient board presence.
