Deck overview

This deck is a classic Golgari Elf tribal strategy piloted by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The game plan focuses on rapid early-game acceleration via low-mana Elves and powerful cradle-style mana producers such as Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid. Once a critical mass of mana is established, the deck transitions into explosive token generation with cards like Elven Ambush and Elvish Promenade, multiplying its creature count rapidly. Winning lines revolve around Lathril's activated ability to drain 10 life from every opponent simultaneously, reinforced by combat damage from lord-buffed Elves, Shaman of the Pack burst triggers, and Nadier's Nightblade aristocrat drains. Strong reactive protection like Heroic Intervention and Selfless Safewright shields the vulnerable wide board against opposing sweepers.
