Deck overview

This is a Golgari (Black/Green) Elven tribal deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elven King. The strategy is to stock the graveyard with Elves (through discard/mill effects), then cast the King to turn on a relentless value engine. Thranduil grants you monstrous card advantage-netting additional cards every time another legendary Elf enters the battlefield-combat through an army of pumped tokens, and finally closing with a lethal Overwhelmed swing to each opponent. The deck hedges its recursion: every piece (Lively Dirge, Victimize) threatens to return to play; tutors (Demonic Consultation, Jarad's Orders) ensure you find what you need; and the landbase plays a draw engine (Coiling Oracle). It is a resilient, stompy, "graveyard-pact" tribal midrange deck.
