Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Lathril, Blade of the Elves at the helm of a classic Elfball swarm strategy. The game plan focuses on rapid early mana acceleration through low-cost mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and explosive scaling producers like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid. Once Lathril enters the battlefield, her menace ability enables easy combat connections, rapidly expanding the board state with 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens. The deck translates this wide presence into lethal pressure using overrun effects such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader, or through direct life loss via Lathril's activated tap ability and Shaman of the Pack. While susceptible to heavy sweepers, the deck packs high card draw throughput and mass graveyard recursion like Patriarch's Bidding to rebuild quickly and close games by Turn 6.
