Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads an aggressive midrange deck centered around the amass mechanic and the Ring tempting you. Sauron generates an Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells, and landing combat damage with an Army triggers both the Ring and Sauron wheel effect to draw four cards. The deck builds a massive board of Orcs, Goblins, and Wraiths while cycling through the library. Victory is achieved through devastating combat damage enabled by cards like Assault on Osgiliath, unblockable evasion from The Black Gate or Rogue Passage, or direct burn via The Great Goblin and Fiery Inscription.
