Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura control strategy piloted by Killian, Decisive Mentor. It focuses on weaponizing enchantments to dictate combat flow across the table. Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield, Killian taps down a prospective blocker and goads an opposing threat, forcing opponents to whittle down each other's life totals while protecting the pilot. Meanwhile, attacking with an enchanted creature replenishes the pilot's hand. Defensive pillowfort pieces such as Ghostly Prison, Nils, Discipline Enforcer, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple ensure that opposing armies cannot retaliate. As the table's life totals dwindle, the deck transitions from defensive attrition into a lethal clock using massive enchantments like Eldrazi Conscription, wide token swarms from Archon of Sun's Grace, or direct drain from Eriette. While it lacks instant stack interaction and direct tutors, its functional redundancy and resilient engines create an effective political grind.
