Deck overview

This is a low-curve Jeskai spell-slinger combat deck built around Massimo, the Magician. The core loop fills the graveyard with mana-value-1 instants and sorceries, then uses Massimo's ETB trigger to imprint those spells onto cheap creatures-especially unblockable rogues and prowess bodies. When those creatures connect, they freely copy the imprinted cantrips, burn spells, and selection, chaining card advantage and damage. Parallel payoffs include classic Magecraft/burn engines (Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Fiery Inscription, Electrostatic Field), token factories (Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Monastery Mentor, Kykar, Wind's Fury, Third Path Iconoclast), and one extra-combat spell in Great Train Heist. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through attrition combat, repeated free spell copies, and ping damage. Massimo is a powerful enabler but not a hard lock-piece-the 99 still functions as a competent spell-slinger midrange list without him.
