Deck overview

This deck is an Esper token midrange engine commanded by Marneus Calgar. It focuses on generating constant token creation triggers across all turns to draw massive amounts of cards. Early turns establish mana acceleration through efficient artifacts and low-cost token generators such as Bitterblossom, Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, and Charismatic Conqueror. On Turn 4, Marneus Calgar enters the battlefield to immediately convert token creation into continuous card advantage. Turn 5 compounds this advantage with powerful token multipliers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Anointed Procession, and Divine Visitation, or lock pieces like Myrel, Shield of Argive. The deck cleanly closes games on Turn 6 by executing an overwhelming combat overrun with Moonshaker Cavalry, Akroma's Will, or Porcelain Gallery. Backed by free protection spells, premium countermagic, and flexible removal, the deck maintains high resilience and strong table control throughout the match.
