Gwen Stacy by Quackles

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is built around Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider, a transform commander that exiles cards from the top of the library and allows you to play them. The primary strategy is to generate overwhelming value by casting spells from exile, leveraging payoffs like The Lost and the Damned (creates 3/3 Spawn tokens), Quintorius Kand (deals 2 damage to each opponent), Vega, the Watcher (draws cards), and Nalfeshnee (copies spells). The deck also includes a Spider tribal subtheme with Spider-Punk, Spider-Verse, and Arana, Heart of the Spider, granting extra combat triggers and token generation. The win condition is a combination of combat damage with tokens and buffed creatures, plus burn from Quintorius Kand and Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest. The deck lacks a fast infinite combo, relying on incremental advantage and resource denial through cards like Avatar's Wrath and Doomskar.
