Deck overview

Pia, Aether Ascetic commands a fast, consistent Mono-Green combo and stompy deck centered on assembling the infinite mana loop of Food Chain and Eternal Scourge. Because Pia sits in the command zone as an unconditional enchantment tutor for three mana, the deck reliably finds Food Chain or Survival of the Fittest on curve. Once infinite creature mana is produced, Pia is recast repeatedly to fetch Greater Good, which draws through the entire library alongside Eternal Scourge. The deck finishes immediately on Turn 4 by casting Surrak and Goreclaw to grant haste and trample, overwhelming the entire table with Blightsteel Colossus, Worldspine Wurm, and massive Eldrazi. In backup lines, engines like Defense of the Heart, Oath of Druids, and Virtue of Strength cheat game-ending threats into play without relying on the primary combo. Strong ramp and resilient graveyard recursion make the strategy fast and recoverable.
