Commander: Zimone, Paradox Sculptor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a +1/+1 counter synergy strategy built around Zimone, Paradox Sculptor, whose activated ability doubles counters on up to two creatures or artifacts each turn. The game plan is to deploy a critical mass of creatures that grow with counters-such as Mossborn Hydra, Forgotten Ancient, and the "Increment" creatures-then use untap effects (Pemmin's Aura, Seeker of Skybreak, Aphetto Alchemist) to activate Zimone multiple times per turn, rapidly scaling power. The deck also generates Mutagen tokens via The Ooze and the Mutant cycle, which can be sacrificed to place counters elsewhere. Card selection and draw come from Fblthp, Lost on the Range, Verity Circle, and Serum Tank. The primary win condition is combat damage from a massive trampling creature, with backup from Germination Practicum (a repeatable mass pump) and Growth Curve (doubling counters on a single target). The deck lacks tutors and fast mana, relying on incremental value to close out games.
