Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy commanded by Liliana the Repentant. It establishes early board presence through low-cost zombies, sacrifice outlets, and continuous self-mill enabled by Liliana’s entry trigger. The primary engine converts recurring death triggers into card advantage with staples like Undead Augur, Midnight Reaper, and Braids, Arisen Nightmare. It transitions into the midgame by filling the graveyard with high-impact payoffs like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Sheoldred, Whispering One, and Syr Konrad, the Grim. The primary win condition is an infinite sacrifice loop combining Gravecrawler, Pitiless Plunderer, and a free sacrifice outlet like Carrion Feeder. This mills the entire library via Liliana, setting up a Dread Return on Syr Konrad to drain the table immediately. Alternatively, the deck can hardcast mass reanimation spells like Living Death or unlock Awakening Hall to flood the board with lethal devotion and drain triggers.
