Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Great Goblin leads an aggressive Rakdos Goblin and Orc deck that combines tribal swarm with burn and impulsive card advantage. The strategy centers on amassing Armies, growing creatures with plus one plus one counters, and triggering the commander to burn opponents while death triggers keep the hand full. In the early turns, you develop token generators and cost reducers. In the midgame, you deploy your commander alongside engine pieces like Krenko, Mob Boss and Dreadhorde Invasion to build an overwhelming board. You close games through massive combat swings empowered by Shared Animosity or Assault on Osgiliath, complemented by direct burn from The Great Goblin and Siege-Gang Commander.
