Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck operates as a high-powered Midrange Combo strategy. It combines resilient +1/+1 counter and proliferate value engines with the decisive two-card infinite combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Early turns prioritize mana acceleration through green land-ramp sorceries and fast mana artifacts, setting up flexible tutors like Demonic Tutor, Idyllic Tutor, and Fabricate. While Atraxa generates steady incremental advantage alongside planeswalkers and counter doublers, the deck's primary goal is assembling Heliod and Walking Ballista by Turn 4 to 5. Once lifelink is granted to Ballista, it deals infinite damage across the table at instant speed. The deck defends this line with low-cost protection such as Heroic Intervention, Teferi's Protection, and Glen Elendra Archmage, while Aura Shards systematically strips opposing artifact and enchantment engines.
