Deck overview

This deck is a five-color aggro-midrange build led by Leonardo, the Balance. It synergizes token creation with team-wide +1/+1 counter placement. The early game focuses on land fixing and deploying cheap utility creatures or token generators such as Michelangelo, the Heart and Michelangelo, Mutant BFF. Once Leonardo enters on Turn 4 or 5, every token created adds +1/+1 counters across your entire board. The deck accelerates into Turn 6 with high-impact combat finishers like Raphael, the Muscle, Slash, Reptile Rampager, or by activating Leonardo's {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} ability to give all creatures menace, trample, and lifelink. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to independent threats like Shredder, Shadow Master and Heroes in a Half Shell, the strategy is primarily vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and mana fixing delays caused by tapped lands.
