Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul stompy deck centered on Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. Leveraging explosive mana positive rocks, lands, and red rituals, it races to 7 mana to deploy the commander with innate haste on Turn 4 (or Turn 3 with exceptional acceleration). Upon declaring an attack, Raph & Mikey reveals off the top directly into one of only 9 high-threat creatures in the library, cheating it directly into combat. Hits like Blightsteel Colossus, Bloodthirster, Port Razer, and Old Gnawbone immediately threaten lethal player elimination and chain into extra combat phases or infinite loops with Aggravated Assault. The deck guards its critical turn with efficient protection spells such as Deflecting Swat, Veil of Summer, and the zero-mana Not of This World.
