Deck overview

This Golgari deck is commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General and focuses on token multiplication, sacrifice synergies, and compact aristocrat combo wins. Early turns establish mana acceleration through low-cost mana dorks and land ramp to cast Chatterfang ahead of curve. The deck quickly doubles token output from Foods, Clues, and Treasures, turning incidental value into an army of 1/1 green Squirrels. These tokens serve as ammunition for Chatterfang's removal ability, fodder for massive card draw through Skullclamp and Plumb the Forbidden, or mana engines via Gaea's Cradle. The primary win condition is an infinite sacrifice loop using Chatterfang and Pitiless Plunderer or Warren Soultrader, which generates infinite mana, infinite tokens, and triggers drain pieces like Marionette Apprentice, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats for a same-turn kill. Robust protection spells and backup overrun plans ensure high consistency and resilience.
