Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-blue Merfolk tribal build helmed by **Sakashima of a Thousand Faces**, who serves as a flexible copy engine for the deck's lords. The core strategy is combat-oriented: deploy a glut of evasive and unblockable Merfolk (islandwalk, cannot-be-blocked), pump them with multiple lord effects, and use sheer board volume to overwhelm three opponents. Sakashima can copy a legendary lord like **Lord of Atlantis** or **Attuma, Atlantean Warlord** to double the anthem, and the "legend rule" exemption lets multiple copies of the same legend coexist. The deck has no infinite combos; its only win condition is combat damage, supported by a dense suite of counterspells and combat trick effects to protect the board. Ramp is minimal (Saphire Medallion` Mox Amber), so the deck plays at a deliberate mid-tempo pace.
