Deck overview

This deck is a -1/-1 counter Aristocrats engine helmed by The Reaper, King No More. It leverages -1/-1 counter placement to simultaneously control opposing boards and fuel recursive sacrifice loops. The deck accelerates through green ramp and efficient mana rocks on the early turns, establishing key engine permanents such as Warren Soultrader, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, or Nest of Scarabs by Turn 4. The primary win condition centers on resolving Protean Hulk or using tutors to assemble Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and an Aristocrat drain outlet like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat to drain the table on Turn 5. Backup win lines include Blowfly Infestation token loops and Devoted Druid combinations. Proactive disruption from Maha, Its Feathers Night and Kulrath Knight neutralizes opposing creature boards while the deck works toward its combo finish.
