Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Akiri, Line-Slinger and Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist in an aggressive Equipment Voltron strategy supported by political goad and combat tax engines. Akiri scales power rapidly from cheap artifacts and artifact lands, allowing early deployment on turn 2 and aggressive swings by turn 4. Ludevic, alongside goad enablers like Bloodthirsty Blade, Nelly Borca, Impulsive Accuser, and Red Death, Shipwrecker, incites opponents to attack each other, drawing cards and lowering life totals while Ghostly Prison and Propaganda protect the pilot. Dedicated tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift assemble evasion, protection, and double strike (Caduceus, Staff of Hermes, Whispersilk Cloak, Reyav, Master Smith), allowing Akiri to dispatch players sequentially with lethal commander damage by turn 8. The deck is resilient, utilizing versatile interactive spells, tutorable shroud/hexproof equipment, and solid alternate threats like Kraum, Ludevic's Opus.
