Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, blending Naya colors to execute a relentless land-animation and counters beatdown strategy. Toph turns nontoken artifacts into lands and turns lands into recurring 0/0 creatures with haste, +1/+1 counters, and built-in resilience: whenever an earthbent land dies or is exiled, it returns to the battlefield tapped. This unique replacement clause insulates your primary attackers from board wipes and spot removal. Supported by Ally and Avatar payoffs like Bumi, Unleashed, Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender, and Sokka's Charge, the deck applies severe mid-game combat pressure. Protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention shield key engines, while lessons and creature tutors smooth land drops and piece access. The plan culminates in sweeping combats powered by double strike, vigilance, and additional combat phases.
