Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros aggro deck commanded by Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. The game plan revolves around casting Anim Pakal early, rapidly growing her with +1/+1 counters, and triggering her attack ability to flood the battlefield with tapped and attacking Gnome artifact creature tokens. As the token swarm expands, the deck leverages enter-the-battlefield burn engines like Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, and Warleader's Call, explosive pump effects like Goldnight Commander and Devilish Valet, and end-step drain from Throne of the God-Pharaoh to overwhelm the table. To safeguard its board-centric engine, the deck runs a dense array of low-cost and free protection spells, including Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Galadriel's Dismissal. While reliant on its commander for token generation and lacking heavy mana ramp or tutors, the deck exerts rapid exponential pressure in mid-power games.
