Deck overview

This deck is an Esper topdeck-manipulation and battlecruiser strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating into Yennett by Turn 4, using tools like Brainstorm, Ponder, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, and Sensei's Divining Top to stage the top of the library, and attacking on Turn 5 to cheat massive odd-mana-value spells into play for free. Dominant payoffs such as Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, and Toxrill, the Corrosive establish overwhelming board states and asymmetric restrictions. The list complements this engine with minigame and theft effects, along with flexible odd/even removal like Extinction Event. While highly explosive once Yennett attacks, the deck relies heavily on its commander surviving a turn cycle and lacks cheap countermagic to defend against targeted spot removal.
