Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Dragon tribal and reanimation strategy commanded by Rivaz of the Claw. The primary plan uses dense mana acceleration and cost reducers to cast powerful 5-to-7 mana Dragons ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, cards like Terror of the Peaks, Utvara Hellkite, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen generate explosive board presence and burn damage, while haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Rising of the Day allow immediate attacks. Rivaz of the Claw provides sustained card advantage by casting fallen Dragons directly from the graveyard. Additionally, the deck features high-synergy reanimation spells such as Reanimate and Victimize, backed by the compact two-card infinite combo of Worldgorger Dragon and Animate Dead to generate infinite mana and triggers. With strong resilience through redundant threats and graveyard recursion, the deck reliably closes out games between Turn 5 and Turn 7.
