Deck overview

This deck is an Esper wheel and combo-control strategy commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. The game plan focuses on converting every card drawn into targeted life drain and life gain. During the early turns, the deck deploys mana rocks, tax permanents like Esper Sentinel and Rhystic Study, and filters its hand. Once Queza, Augur of Agonies enters the battlefield on Turn 4, the deck leverages symmetric wheels like Windfall and Whispering Madness to shred opposing hands while dealing substantial burn across the table. The primary win conditions consist of instant-speed infinite draw-and-drain loops using Lich's Mastery or Drogskol Reaver, alongside backup combos such as Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond or mass burn through Psychosis Crawler. A comprehensive suite of spot removal, sweepers like Farewell, and targeted counterspells ensures the deck can control opposing threats while assembling its decisive finish.
