Hobbits! Or is it? - B3 - The Notary Hobbits by TyrannicalWall

Format: Commander

Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green deck is built around The Notary Hobbits. The commander enters and makes two non-legendary copies of itself, so you quickly have three Hobbits. Each Hobbit taps for mana equal to the number of Halflings you control, which creates explosive mana when you have all three. Maskwood Nexus and Springleaf Parade make every creature a Halfling, so your elves and tokens also count and push the mana higher. The deck uses that mana to take big turns: it doubles tokens with Parallel Lives and Peregrin Took, populates with Full Flowering and Second Harvest, and then wins in one of three ways - infinite mana into Walking Ballista, Squall Line or Borrowing the East Wind, a lethal swing with Craterhoof Behemoth, or a slow win with Helix Pinnacle. Concordant Crossroads, Lightning Greaves and Thousand-Year Elixir give haste so the Hobbits can tap the turn they enter.
