Deck overview

This Boros aggro deck centers on Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon to create an exponentially expanding army of Gnome artifact creature tokens. By casting the commander on turn 3 and attacking consistently starting on turn 4, the deck places +1/+1 counters on Anim Pakal and generates increasingly larger waves of tapped and attacking 1/1 Gnomes. The strategy converts this rapid token production into lethal pressure using direct entry-damage triggers from Impact Tremors, Molten Gatekeeper, and Witty Roastmaster, alongside mass team-buff effects like Goldnight Commander and War Flare. Support cards such as Noble Heritage, Luminarch Aspirant, and Rosie Cotton of South Lane accelerate counter accumulation on the commander. Protective equipment and combat tricks defend key creatures from opposing removal. While the deck possesses explosive combat potential and steady token scaling, it features minimal card tutoring and conditional single-target removal, making it reliant on proactive board development and combat dominance.
